Small Town Killers
Directed by Ole Bornedal
When hapless and horny husbands Ib and Ed grow bored with their humdrum lives, they make a rash decision to hire a hitman to kill their wives. Enter Igor, a Russian contract killer who prefers taking shots to doling them out. Quickly regretting their dumb decision, Ib and Ed try to call Igor off, but he won’t be dissuaded. Things get even worse when their wives learn of the plot and hire their own assassin. Enter Miss Nippleworthy, a British mum with a penchant for poison. Ole Bornedal’s (NIGHTWATCH) hilariously dark comedy is definitely not for the pro-PC crowd. A SHUDDER EXCLUSIVE.
In this Danish black comedy, two friends foolishly decide to hire a hitman to kill their wives.
Cast: Ulrich Thomsen, Nicolas Bro, Lene Maria Christensen, Mia Lyhne

It was so refreshing to watch a black comedy with funny, dark humour again, especially after the last decade of safe, PC garbage. Had some great laughs watching this. The 2 assassins were great characters and very fun to watch - I'd love it if it turned they were both okay and they did a sequel of them just battling it out for revenge; they contrasted one another so well. The two protagonists were also really funny. Visually and audibly funny movie.
I found the whole thing a bit 'meh',expected more from the director of the Night Watch films. This was littered with lazy stereotypes & lame humour throughout & felt like a Carry On film without the laughs. A sad waste of a great cast.
not a horror but still a nice one
Could have used a bit more punch, but was overall a decent film.
It has some good moments but lacks the teeth needed to be a truly great black comedy.
