Difficult to sit through on both ends of the spectrum, Mon Mon Mon MONSTERS offers both an insight into peoples’ natural evil and unfunny fart jokes. Heart-wrenching torture of a child is diminished in value by odd habits of breaking the tension with childish humour, which isn’t uncommon in this type of media. Despite its lengthy runtime, it didn’t feel slow, and some scenes really stuck out to me — but this movie lacks what it clearly advertised: seeing the bully get their just deserts. Instead, we are met with a dreary, nihilistic approach, and left wanting our own teeth to be pulled out of our heads.
Great film and cast - would have been good to know a bit more about the 2 girls and how they turned…
Not bad. But I’m really
Plain and simple, this is just a good monster movie. Not reinventing the wheel but you get what you want - gore, thrills, and some pretty scary monsters. If that’s what you’re in the mood for, I highly recommend it.
Love how it makes you feel bad for the monsters, different and interesting perspective, was actually scary with good graphics, also was a good combination of sad with some funny moments!
